I wonder if Alex Jensen regrets not taking the Utah job when it seemed available to him.  The Jazz never make the expected title run and it looks like he has been passed over for the head coaching job.

Utes come in at #8 in Athlon’s Pre-Season Top-25 Predicition.  USC is #9 and Oregon is #10.

Brian Allen with a pick 6 for the USFL Birmingham Stallions tonight on FS1.  Game is at half.
 
 

If anyone cares, Brian Allen was drafted by the Birmingham Stallions of the new USFL yesterday.  The sports nostalgia part of me is happy to have the USFL back and we could all use some successful spring football.
 

Any insight on parking for the Rose Parade and Bowl? I have bounced around the internet and looked at options but was wondering if anyone has done this before.

Jeeze, please put the Utes and Buckeyes in a bubble so they can play.  It would be such a Utah sport’s fan experience to finally make it to the Rose Bowl and not play.

I don’t know about the rest of you all but for me that was better than winning the Sugar Bowl! LOVE this team, LOVE Utah football.

Kyle has been very fortunate over the years to have top level kickers and punters fall into his lap and perform.  However, Utah is one of the few P5 programs that does not actively recruit kickers and punters and offer them scholarships out of high school. This may come back to haunt the Utes some day.

I have not seen it mentioned here but Walt Misaka died.  If you don’t know who he is, look it up.  GREAT Ute!
I hope they have plans to recognize him at the upcoming football and basketball games.

So much debate on here about our chances for the CFP.  Just think though…win out and we are at least in the Rose Bowl.  The FREAKING ROSE BOWL!!! For old time Ute fans that is just inconceivable.
 

I told my wife that this is the biggest game in 10 years.  She said I say that every weekend.  Well…this is the biggest game in 10 years as our Rose Bowl and CFP possibilities are on the line.  Go Utes!

Watching PAC12 60 in 60…after Fields’ cheap shot targeting of Moss, it looks like Whitt comes out on the field to confront Fields.  Great seeing the whole team going after him.
