These may be my favorite helmet of all time.

IMO – If we get +1 TO margin or better, we win. But we have to keep our own to less than 2. I would love to see us not turn it over at all, and get a +3 on the game, but hey….reality.

Just don’t do the “Top Poster” thing. I know there was a lot of issues with what was always called the “Board Elite” on that other site. Maybe it was done in joking, but it would be neat to see how may “thumbs-up” I had.

I just discovered using HUB > Member Activity works even better. It will let you know automatically when there is new activity. This site just keeps on getting better.

Yes, there is usually a game chat going on. I recommend opening it up in its own separate window. I have it open now, and there seems to be a more active amount of chat in general than on UF.N

USC is like sex/pizza – even when they’re bad, they’re still pretty damn good.

I think this is a good idea. I like to see new posts, it keeps things flowing. You are right though, too much jibber-jabber can also be a hinderance.

Saw something online somewhere that said kid is transferring due to being homesick. Helton denied punch and said something to the effect that if it did happen “I wouldn’t be standing here right now”

No doubt the local media LOVES this game. I myself have a certain amount of nostalgic respect for it, and enjoy it when we win. Losses still sting, and I know they will eventually beat us, but that’s just the way it goes. I look at this year’s game as a chance to see what kind of progress we have made from week 1. I would usually check in daily on UF.N. If it’s done, hen so be it. I will miss it, but will continue to come here as well as I would anticipate an uptick in activity on here (as we have already seen today).

I honestly think we are a Sweet 16 team this year. We will undoubtedly get whomever we match up against’s best shot, and may barely pull out a win in the round of 32. We have had enough WTF moments this year to make me a little on edge, but I think Sweet 16 is a real probability. Hell, we may even make it one step further and taste the Elite 8.

I honestly think we need to keep the OC and the position coaches in tact (as much as possible) to establish consistency. This year we have a mixture of players that were recruited under former OC’s regimes. I think we need to hold on to the staff in place, and see what they can do when they fill the ranks with their recuits/players.

Not sure if this has already been suggested, but I would like to see links that are posted in the forums open in a new window/tab instead of redirecting me OFF of UteHub. I know I can just CTRL Click and it will do that, but I sometimes forget…

For the record, I was only saying Utah and Texas are similar in that both schools are part of conferences that are aligned in the P5 and have access to the playoffs, etc. I know Texas has BIGGER pockets and has more pull on the political side of the college football landscape. Not going to happen. Utah is now a P5 school.I would think moving to TX would be more of a lateral move as compared to the pre P12 days. Besides, KWhitt’s mother still lives in Provo, and I do not see him leaving the state for a job like Texas.
