The problem with recruiting rankings is they are related to the number of commits you have, so since we have a lot of returning missionaries this year we will be lower in those rankings. The key thing is the average grade for recruits has improved each year we’ve been in the PAC 12. To me that is the more important thing.

As a side note, Tareke will be on campus in January. As a JC guy he had to get his AA degree and needed one grade to meet the requirement, which he wasn’t able to do in the summer. I understand all is fixed now and he will join the team for spring.

Well I doubt his college coach will be courting him to a new spot.

I think it stems from comments back after the ASU and Oregon losses about the two not being on the same page. Winning is a great deoderant and it seems that has been long forgotten.

From everything I’ve heard Gary was tired of all the other stuff surrounding being a head coach. I would think, given what’s been said a senior advisor to the defense (much like the Pease role) would fit his current mindset.

It’s still only 3% of the workforce over all rounds of layoffs as they restructure. My experience is that most larger companies have far more fat than that in the workforce and could probably stand to trim at least double that amount without affecting operations. The drive is on to become more efficient across all sectors of the economy.
