If you try to figure out the decision making process for most 18-19 year olds you will drive yourself nuts. Mix in parents trying to push their kid one way or the other and you get some very strange results.

I think one thing affecting your projections is the early entry losses we see. This team with Poetle is an NCAA team.

That might be a badge of honor to be tagged as a conservative A-hole by all the liberal A-holes at an Eastern College.

They are not the same.
Pence was allowed a second account by State law, maintenance of a separate account was at least against policy, if not law.
Pence was not handling classified material on his (assumption), Clinton had both marked and unmarked classified material.
Pence turned his outside e-mail accounts over to an independent source to…[Read more]

I thought Bolles entire game improved throughout the year last year, something that is not always true.

Yea, I doubt that Mike Pence, as governor of Indiana handled highly classified material. Yet another attempt to muddy the waters.

The idea behind the zion curtain is not to entice underage youth to drink, but most likely does just the opposite. Someone needs to drag this state kicking and screaming into the 20th Century.

The whole story that came out in the New York Times is indicative of the issue. Someone in a Federal Agency leaks information about on ongoing investigation, embellishing the report by saying there was “evidence” of collusion. The FBI deputy chief (the same guy that decided not to prosecute Hillary), tells the white house staff the report is BS.…[Read more]

The problem with the model is it’s a huge complex system with a number of inputs that are very difficult to calculate. The methodology has been to ignore of impute those unquantified results into the error term which is then attributed to a single actor. Add to that some interesting data selection and I don’t have a lot of confidence in the…[Read more]

I watched a really good special on global warming that talked about this phenomenon. It’s one reason for the general warming trend since the middle of the 18th Century. However, this effect is understood and worked into the models. Still I found it very interesting from a celestial mechanics point of view.

There is a major difference in the Tea Party and the current round of protests. The Tea Party grew out of frustration with the ACA. These happened AFTER the bill was passed. These are all taking place BEFORE any real legislation has been passed.

I agree they will get guys they used to get. Just that with Sitake they will lose less of those those than with Bronco. So a net win, but hardly the massive upgrade they expect.

I had this discussion with Phil Olsen last summer. He was absolutely afraid that Kalani was a game changer for BYU. Understand he is coming from a Utah State perspective. His take was that as a Poly head coach Kalani could draw on that bloc and it would destroy the recruiting for the rest of the college teams in the state because they would be…[Read more]

Not a lawyer or financial guy, but I think the phrase “…calculated semi-annually,” means that the interest would only be accrued on a semi-annual basis (so at the end of six months).
