This is a game we should win, but we always seem to throw up a klinker at Tempe.

We have never won in Tempe wince we joined the PAC-12.

This game is one for the ages.

I don’t think Washington looked like a clearly better team (and I think the voters who watched the game agreed). That game was really close and each team had some good plays and some bad ones. A classic college football game. I bet that if those teams played 10 times the split would be 5-5 or 6-4 either way.

I don’t know why anyone thinks any of these games left will be easy. None are in the PAC 12, but we have always had a tough time in Tempe and Oregon is always dangerous. Colorado seems to be a different animal this year.

There were actually two guys down in time to cover the punt, but one was taken out by a block in the back.

The PAC-12 has 7 bowl tie ins, 8 if we get in the playoff. 4 teams are already bowl eligible, 3 more need one more win. Three teams will be eliminated with one more loss. So the PAC-12 should have enough teams to fulfill the tie ins and maybe an extra one or two.

As much as drops, which always seem to come at critical times, it was noticeable in how much more space Browning had to throw into than Troy did. I receivers simply don’t do a good enough job of getting open.

I think it’s mainly because so many people were focused on the game they sought it out and watched, getting a better feeling about how good this team is. Boise losing didn’t hurt either.

On the sack Williams took. The problem there was play design. The blitz was actually picked up fairly effectively and the line held the defenders for a couple of beats, but the play didn’t have an outlet receiver to shoot a quick pass to. Typically you like to go back to the spot where the blitzer just vacated, but there wasn’t anyone there to go to.

I heard CBB was out just before the start of the game, but never did hear a reason.

If we win the next two (which isn’t a sure thing), I would say Alamo if Washington goes to the playoff, or Holiday if not. If we drop one or both of those two then sun or Vegas.

Don’t WSU and Colorado have to play each other, so they both can’t win out.

Tevi was on the sideline with his ankle iced, so I would guess a sprain.
