For it’s me it’s the way the school and law enforcement direct traffic out of the game. I understand it’s gonna take time when you go to events. It’s just that depending on where you are they can make you wind clear back in the opposite direction or wait for what seems like forever for them to empty out certain parking lots while backing other areas up.

He’s a kid so I think you’d need to cut him some slack but man what a short-sighted reason if that’s truly what the reason was. Cam was out, Barnes was in and out with Johnson and then Bottari played a game. If I’m a wide receiver looking at last year, I’m throwing it out. That’s just not how the offense is going to look.
It was early in the process but I wonder if Mikey saw the writing on the wall with Kuithe, King, Pittman and Parks coming back, and for that matter if he knew they’d be looking to pull talent out of the portal. The current receiving depth between receivers and tight ends is PLENTY of talented. We’ll be just fine.

The only issue I’d have with anything he says is when he talks about the television networks as though they aren’t part of the power brokers. Television has been involved in why we are where we are. They will have a huge voice in what happens moving forward.

If Cam started and played this would have been completely different. We will be just fine. Barnes is a good kid but can’t make decisions quickly enough, Nate’s just new. Cam would find the open receivers that Barnes missed all day and this game would have been completely different. We will be just fine in PAC 12 play.

Bummer was coming here to see the negative spin one of two regular posters who are legendary for finding the negative in all Utah football news was going to make. Maybe they’re on vacation?

Rice Eccles and take Trax up to stadium for free.

They are moving to DayBreak not Draper. I do think it’s a mistake though. We couldn’t move out of that area fast enough, the traffic is murder at rush hour. During a game I can only imagine.

I think my biggest concern is at corner. But the head coach is defensive minded so if he’s good with what we got, I’m good.

Except this isn’t a week to week thing. Barnes’ weakness has been apparent for at least the last season and the start of this season. He is entirely too slow in his decision making. The line eventually breaks down and the runners have to come out of routes. Mitchell was saying the same thing on Saturday. I had to run an errand at the right before the end of the half and he was noting that Barnes keys in on a receiver or a side and isn’t looking back as openings develop. He missed a number of wide open receivers and instead got nervous and tried to escape the pocket. He’s not the answer. He’s a good kid but a known quantity. We need to let somebody new have adequate time to play and see how they develop.

I’m sure the embarrassing Fox thing isn’t a thing. The coaches literally found out after Rising took the field in warmups and decided he couldn’t go. Not much they could do to let the Fox team who wasn’t even telecasting at the game know about it any sooner.
