Which is infuriating. Why do other teams make offens look so easy?

Did you sell these yet? I think I sent you a DM but I might have messed it up somehow.

Yeah, it that is true Whitt is an absolute idiot. Way to shoot yourself in the foot. What is the old adage? If you have two quarterbacks you don’t have any?

Man, that is tempting. I’m going to talk to my wife about it. But if somebody else wants them don’t wait on me.

I hear exactly what you are saying, Andy. Last year I stopped doing my midweek obsessing and just tuning in to the games to enjoy watching Utah play. It was a less enjoyable season for me and I was really looking forward to being your typical obsessed fan again this year. This bye week has felt like last season to me.

Part of me thinks that the recency of the loss to Arizona is still affecting my attitude and that a win at ASU will make it all better so I can get hyped again. The other part of me is battening down the hatches to prepare for another throwaway season. I guess well see on Friday night which part of me is right.

Tony, I am new to the site after giving up a pay site I was on for 13 years. You have created a great space to talk about Utah Sports! I love it here.

Personally Venmo is easier for me. But I’d drive to your house and hand you cash if it meant keeping UteHub a great spot for Ute fans like me.

Three words: time of possession. With Rising out the best strategy, as deemed by the coaching staff, is to win by suffocating the opponent by simply not letting them have the ball. It works really well if, and only if, we put the ball in the endzone at a high rate. We did not do that against Arizona if we would have then we would have won. We had the ball in the red zone often enough but terrible (emphasis on terrible) play calling lead to 2 turn overs on downs and 0 points and one was a field goal.

In short our coaching staff has let us and the team down by having a poor game plan since Rising’s injury.

Of course Utah belongs in the top 25! A let down loss after a tough road game facing an opponent who had a bye! Guys, we were never going to go undefeated! Never! How many of us in preseason looked at the OK State and Arizona and thought going 1-1 in those games would put us in great position to win the BIG12? I know after we won in Stillwater we all thought it was an easy ride to the CCG but it was never going to be, there are no Goliaths in this conference but there are a lot of Achilles and Hector’s, maybe it’s time to show a little respect to our new conference.

All of our preseason hopes are still on the table, especially after today and Whitt, Scalley and Ludwig will have the gius ready to go Friday night.

I should have read what you wrote before I replied. You hit the nail on the head. I have little to no hope that the coaching staff will change their approach.
