Craig smith… just sayin. That team was gritty and played great on ‘d’.
I’m happy with the incremental step in talent we’ve taken this year. Just need to find a couple guys who can start to fill it up and open that side of the floor next year and we’ll be in business.

I just can’t believe the confluence of crap that cost is this game. We prolly shoulda rolled these dudes given Nix’s bum wheel, which was a huge factor btw.

the refs were something. Two obvious clips leading to touchdowns. Solo getting wrestled to the ground but somehow we get the penalty. Cam getting slaughtered on the slide. Missed Dixon Pi. Heck, the last play was targeting by pac-12 standards. The fourth down they did not get but was given…. Hack job.

One takeaway from yesterday was that I’m EXCITED about JQJ at running back.
for him just to switch postitions and do what he’s doing is quite remarkable. That’s an ATHLETE!
With an offseason to beef up and learn the position and get comfortable catching balls out of the backfield… we might have a REAL dude on our hands.

I wasn’t sure if rising was in. I really thought Tavion was and I’m grumpy at the refs for not giving him the benefit of the doubt. But the replays were all a ball of bodies and didn’t show anything super definitive I.e. the ball over the goal line.
