  • EVERYBODY in Denver is wearing Orange today. Me, I’ll be watching Booker and Lotuleilei. I just said today, I hope Star doesn’t kill Devontae.

    Funny you feel the same.

  • Okay, so if they sponsor the weekly pick’em, who gets them if there are multiple people tied? And for the record I’m one game back or as I like to call it tied for 9th(?). Which of the 8 got those cook kicks last week?

And they look like great socks. I had to buy some hiking socks for my daughter this past summer and these are similar in quality.…[Read more]

45 seconds is all I could take. That !#$!@#$ upside down U pissed me off, then all of those “fans” who went to all the games last year and couldn’t tell they were being trolled. Sadly these types of videos take and show what they want you to see, I’m sure they didn’t hit the jackpot with “every” fan.

  • Boise is a great place in the summer. Floating the river, doesn’t get dark until about 10:30ish. I can’t imagine how late it is in Northern Idaho. Benefits of being close to the time zone and farther north.

Boise has really grown as a city since I left, much more culture, sports and other activities. If you’re ever in Boise, go to the Boise Fry…[Read more]

  • Just look out the window at the squirrels. Or have you already been moved to the basement?

  • Don’t forget 2004!!!! The twenty year anniversary, or as we UTE fans call it, living in the past. I found the poll of BYU Utah fans done a while ago rather interesting, if you’re old you remember the LaVell years.

  • I grew up in Boise, left in 1986, and have only spent a few days here and there in Boise since.

I never knew the smurf turf, I mean they put it in after I graduated HS, summer of 1986. I had a piece of the original smurf turf, I went to Campus Elementary school on BSU’s campus, so I grew up close to BSU. All of my siblings have taken classes…[Read more]

  • Going on bad losses and decent wins. And only last weeks results.

    1. Stanford
    2. Washington
    3. Colorado (they might be low, they put up some points.)
    4. Oregon
    5. Cal
    6. Utah
    7. ASU
    8. UCLA
    9. Oregon St.
    10. USC
    11. Arizona
    12. WSU

  • No Tony, I don’t think you should. I am LDS, grew up in Boise, and absolutely feel your pain. Religion will creep into posts from time to time, and I don’t feel your post crossed any lines. Utah is just such an absolute strange place. My wife and I are about 13 years from retirement and she thinks we should retire in SLC so we can attend more Utah…[Read more]

  • I’d like to echo the previous messages. Tony, you have a very difficult task, which I know you are up to handling.

I want to come to a board and discuss UTE sports, things that UNITE the board. Rather than divisive religious, political, petty arguments. I admit I posted a few times over the summer over there, however, I have been on this site…[Read more]

  • Okay, team. First tier — Alabama!!!!!! Nobody else had as impressive a win.

Second tier, Ohio St and Michigan.

Third tier Oklahoma St. and Houston. Okay include Louisville.

Now sure Stanford, Washington, or Oregon could be in the third tier, but they weren’t as impressive as those teams listed.

I’m not buying into Colorado, they will likely…[Read more]

  • ASU, Utah, and Colorado in the South? Really? UCLA laid an egg, USC laid an ostrich egg, and Arizona laid an elephant egg. Yes, I’m saying a loss to BYU is worse than Alabama, in spite of the score.

NOrth? Stanford, Cal, Oregon, and Washington. I think Stanford, Washington and Oregon have a good shot at beating the snot out of each other. But WSU…[Read more]

  • Yes I dislike pro sports, yes I think they are a bunch of overpaid whiny bastards. But my wife got us tickets to the Rockies game.

A few observations by my daughters, baseball games are quieter than football games. Yes, I think so, except for maybe the League championships and the World Series.

Baseball is a rather slow sport. Yes, one of the…[Read more]

I got score updates from the TVs at Coors Field watching the Rockies.

CUBuffs fans were all over the streets in Lower Downtown (LoDo) after the game. They were a very happy bunch. Funny that 95% of the fans downtown were Buffs fans, but there were a few Rams fans as well. You’d think if you’re a college student traveling over an hour to the big…[Read more]

  • I’m sorry maybe that first punt clouded my view for the rest of the game. Plus I had a wife and four kids who were in and out of the room.

55.50 yards is awesome, however I’m confused about net punt yards, which is listed at 53.5 avg on http://www.utahutes.com. If he punted six times and even one went in the end zone that’s 20 yards, which divided by…[Read more]

  • First of all kudos to SUU’s defensive front. They may be the best front four we face OOC. Either they were super pumped to play us and they stepped up, or they are going to make some noise in the Big Sky this year.

QB – I liked what I saw from both, I think they’ll both be more than serviceable this year. I really like the short out route to…[Read more]

  • Okay, so I’m mirroring my iPad Pac12TV app onto my TV through my AppleTV. You don’t get a full screen of the video. Sucks, right?

Well yes, but I changed the settings on my TV so it is now in Cinema mode and it is at about 90%+ of my screen. I’m missing about an inch on the top and bottom, and about 2 inches on each side of my 46″ TV. So I can…[Read more]

Well lucky for you, they look more excited to get their picture with him than he does with them. Is he still going to be terrorizing the tailgate lot on the trike, I didn’t actually witness it but thought it was great last year when you described it.

  • UTE98 replied to the topic Streaming Games in the forum Football 8 years, 2 months ago

I’m a cord cutter as well, though I’ve sucked it up and gotten Xfinity for football season four out of the past five years. I got Prism from CenturyLink for a year. I’m actually on an online subscription plan I worked out with a co-worker. I buy lunch every two weeks and I get access to Pac12 online.

I know there are many people who stream the…[Read more]

  • I gambled last year and bought 4 of my 6 tickets for the Cal game after the previous week’s game, thinking Cal would stumble and I’d get a better deal. This is USC, those tickets likely are only going to get more expensive closer to game time. Buy now.
