The minute they became professional athletes it was game on. They want to be adults, they can get treated like adults. That said, a little booing is where I stop. I’m not going to get on their X account and light them up or anything. There is such thing as crossing the line as a fan.

I was perusing the bowl schedule on Monday, and was surprised to see that the first playoff games were this weekend. I consider myself a diehard college football fan, so that should tell you everything you need to know.

Every kid gets a trophy generation, unrestricted transfer portal, huge gaps in conference membership value, large booster/donor disparities, a worthless NCAA with no backbone, and no tampering transparency or accountability among the different schools.

Sorry, man. I missed the part about him becoming head coach. We could possibly pull that off, but I think Morgan will be a solid hire. I think the game is unrecognizable to these older coaches (Whitt, Saban, etc) and we may be better off with a youth movement.

Thanks, Tony! I think it took awhile to hit the goal this year based solely on the poor performance of the football program.

I say this with all due respect to TDS, but if they are the best team in this conference this late in the year…the BigXII sucks, and yes, I know they’re better than us right now.

I don’t think we can or will beat TDS. Yeah, it sucks, but it’s not because they’re great (although 8-0 is hard to do), but it’s because we have shown absolutely no ability to generate offensive production. Nothing we try works. Oh, I care. I just don’t have any expectations of doing well the rest of the year. These past three games pretty much put a bullet in the head of my hopes and optimism.

Zero expectations (good or bad). Actually, this is one of the more stress-free games in some time for me. We’re not really playing for anything other than a little pride.

When my wife is guessing the plays we’re going to run WITH A 80% SUCCESS RATE, it might be time for a change.

That said, we’re finishing out the year with an 18 year old at the helm. I really like Isaac, and have confidence in his future, but it’s going to be a rough ending to the year.
