Four years later and the basketball program is a dumpster fire thanks in large part to Craig Smith who I knew was a bad hire the day he was announced as Utah’s next head basketball coach. If Utah did offer him more NIL money because of Beck, wonder why they didn’t offer Calhoun and Tanuvasa? Unless they have good backup options available at their disposal and confident they can replace those players, then I would have to trust their judgment, except Whitt’s. Go UTES!

Very true, but I believe there are some good wins in their that can still contribute.

Tanuvasa, is probably the worse, but we have other players that will step up and replace him!

The other two have never played a down of football for Utah, so we really won’t know if it will be impacting or not. We have other players that can contribute, and if Singer comes back, it will be a plus!

I also believe there is a lot of shady stuff going on behind the scenes from other schools taking our players, especially that school down south. that school wants to destroy Utah’s program and I believe will steal our players before they go anywhere else to pouch players. I could be wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up at BYU.

Seriously doubt that is the issue! I just think because he’s Mormon and just came off an LDS mission he probably had a lot of little birdies, especially from BYU, strongly persuading him to go to BYU before he even sets foot back home. My point is to regulate the NIL from boosters and the fanbase getting screwed by student athletes who want to play wild wild west with the transfer portal. it is to prevent a player from collecting money from the NIL donors and then bolting to another school having not played a down in a game let alone attended the first spring or fall camps.…[Read more]
