This season alone Whitt has done such a dis-service to the players by bringing so many good athletes in and keeping them on the bench that when given the opportunity show up and show out, even if its for a game or two.

In this age of NIL and everything surrounding college football, things like this happen everywhere whether your a “brand” name or not. Unforunately, not sure this young man knows what he wants to do as he’s committed and dec-commited from two different schools like changing underwear. I believe his heart is with Utah, but who really knows.

Hence the offense will still be boring and lethargic no matter who he hires as OC because at the end of the day, he will still interfere with the offense and put his defense on the field two-thirds of games to save his ass from losing.

I agree, BUT let’s first play with a healthy team like we belong in a B1G conference. Right now, we are a bottom feeder Big12 team in a conference that’s getting disrespected by the CFP and fanbases in the two big conferences. We need to play like we are the pre-season Big12 favorites and the rest will work itself out. Go UTES!

I hope Whitt leaves at the end of this season to start the rebuilding with Scalley! At this point with the dsyfunction in the program that he’s a liability for the team and if he still decides to coach he will run the program even further into the ground.

I believe when Cam went down after his second injury he locked down everything to save his ass from the media and fanbase knowing the truth. I didn’t realize how high in the CFP pecking order BYU was at #6. Sorry I don’t think they are that good! They will run into a brick wall. No doubt they have a good team, BUT they are not #6 good.

I believe the handful of teams behind them would take them to the woodshed.

Folks, you forget Whittingham plays not to lose, even though he is losing by 25pts. He’d rather run the ball for no gain on all three downs and put his defense back on the field hoping they can stop CO from scoring and do it all over again running the clock out. Boring ASS football!

Unfortunately, he’s an interception machine, and Whitt will go with Wilson no matter if there are other QBs left on the roster who might be slightly better than him that could give Utah a better chance.

Everything is bad including the coaching, except the defense. That’s the only side of the ball that is keeping Utah from getting blown out in the first half.

It won’t last long if the offense can’t do jack squat…

None of what you said happens if Whitt is not gone after this season. He’s one of the main reason the offense has been inept for majority of his coaching tenure, except the good Cam years.
