  • He’s done a lot for the program before he became head coch, but I believe he is the #1 reason why Utah has fallen from being a top 10 program. He put all his eggs in one basket (Rising) and since Rising has been out the football program has been working on life support ever since.

Whitt may not be all to blame, but the offense since he’s been…[Read more]

This will be an unpopular take, but Whitt needs to move on with his life and retire at end of season. He is the reason why the offense has been inept for years with the exception of the good Rising years. If he stays until his contract ends, next year will be a repeat of this year, if not worse! The program has been brought back down to earth in…[Read more]

  • IMO, Whitt needs to retire end of season or Utah’s football program will see losing seasons, less ticket sales and take a hit in recruiting. For some of you Whitt apologists, this will happen. I say he retire to save himself and the program from further embarrassment.

  • Not making excuses for some loser Ute fans, but you have those kind of obnoxious fans in every fanbase. Unfotunately, Utah does have some very very bad ones. When Texas lost to Georgia a few weeks ago in Austin, fans threw all kinds of crap on the field seen on national TV because they didn’t agree with the call and they were also down by 2+ TDs.…[Read more]

  • must be a BYU fan

  • Having watched a little of the game last night my analysis is Utah has the talented players on their team good enough to have won most of the games they’ve lost this season. Utah should have won that game last night! They should have stuck with what got them the lead and kept building off of that.

Whitt then lost his fifth consecutive game by…[Read more]

Much to be hopeful for this season only two games in against some cupcakes. However, won’t be convinced until midseason conf play which I think at that point in the season should be a good measuring stick. Go UTES!

  • When Texas and OU left, the Big12 became the MWC 2.0. I think BYU has a really good football team and playing the best football in the Big12, but I don’t think they are as good as any top 15 team in the polls. Half the Big12 teams on their schedule have losing records. They almost lost to Ok St. at home, Baylor and UCF really suck like Utah.…[Read more]

I was thinking more like Utah 42-14. Utah somehow surprisingly saves their best game for next weekend and shocks the TDS!

  • BYU is playing very good football, but is it good enough to compete with the top 10? They’ll be lucky if they go undefeated in Big12 play. They could win the conference and they could also lose. If they are included in the CFP I think they lose, because I don’t think they are that good outside the Big12. Indiana appears to be a solid team. We will see.

  • you don’t have to, the head football coach of the Utah program is doing it all on his own!

This won’t be popular and will be hated for it, but I don’t care.

Whittingham will continue to drive the football program into the ground until there is no fanbase attendance, recruit pipeline will dry up having seen first hand what’s gone on for years and go play at BYU or some other Big12, B1G or SEC school. I fear some of you will be okay with…[Read more]

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Inspiration for Whitt in the forum Football 1 month, 3 weeks ago

Whitt is a control freak! The mantra, we don’t adapt to you, you adapt to us mentality no longer applies when you’re not transparent with your players and the fanbase. It’s primarily because of Whitt that the program is in disarray.

If they lose the rest of the games, he will be the one to blame for all of it for his lack of leadership and…[Read more]

  • Understand and agree, but private schools should still be audited as there should be no exceptions to the rules when it comes to auditing and checks and balances both private and public institutions as all are not immune to corruption or nefarious activity. Let’s see, USC a private school ring a bell and had their 2004 or 05 national championship stripped.

  • BYU fan, I can sympathize and agree with your view point for the most part. However, the only thing I found hypocritical was when the Utah state legislature comprised of some BYU alum occupying legislature seats launched an audit a few years ago on Utah’s NIL program obvious to the fanbase and to local and national media that tracked the story…[Read more]

Not to be an ass but anything Whitt says pretty much as it relates to the team is no more valuable than toilet paper I use to wipe my ass with. I am not going to take anything he’s at face value because I don’t know now if he’s truthful or not. He lacks integrity and honesty and has hurt them team. Players don’t respect him.

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Source in the forum Football 1 month, 3 weeks ago

I’ve always believed when leaders like CEOs, presidents of companies, businesses or organizations don’t want to disclose information or be transparent with its employees, customers/clients, team members and/or fanbase because of corrupt or damning business practices that could hurt a company, that tells me they are doing shady and nefarious things…[Read more]

  • That is the very thing I noticed this year alone. Sitake was on the hot seat, but decided to hire some former Ute assistance under Kyle Whitt and allowed them, IMO, to do their jobs and trust them without looking over their shoulders and being a control freak. Whitt is a control freak and IMO interfered in the offense causing sub par performance…[Read more]

  • Right on brother! What I’ve taken into consideration at this juncture in the season is BYU is lucky they haven’t had the level of injuries that Utah has sustained the past few years, but what I’ve noticed is about half or more than half of their staff are former Ute assistance. Their OC is ARod. They are 8-0 and playing very good football against…[Read more]

  • Dunn already left for USC because NIL and because it’s USC. Doesn’t matter that they are 4-4 this season. USC 4-4 is different from a Utah 4-4, because they are USC and Utah is NOT USC.

So will be hearing more de-commits soon? I don’t see Wyatt hanging around unless he really likes SLC and the UofU, minus the football program part.
