The one who really needs to be removed next is Whitt himself!

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Per Coach Whitt about Ludwig in the forum Football 2 months ago

That is just plain and simply him denying the truth and unwilling to admit it to himself he’s failing/failed. Had Ludwig not stepped down, Whitt wouldn’t have done a damn thing! Just tells you, Whitt now needs to retire/step down! His response is pathetic and can negatively hurt the program going forward for his ignorance.

  • You maybe right, but in the end Whitt will have a much much bigger problem potentially the players turning against him and refusing to play, the fanbase destroying his name in the stands and on social media and attendance will drop significantly, recruiting will take a hit, and the boosters would demand he do or change something immediately. His…[Read more]

  • Unless utah pulls out a massive miracle before the game is over AND i highly doubt that as the two loses has spilled over into the TCU game, they are NOT going to beat BYU or ISU. Utah is playing like a G5 team.

Who is to blame for Utah’s two loses, and maybe three loses?
    A. Whitt only.
    B. Whitt, Ludwig, and Scalley.
    C. Players.
    D. All of the Above.

    Whittingham?

  • I am hoping Wilson and the team ball out Saturday and get back to playing smashmouth Utah football this weekend against TCU and play their best game of the year against BYU Nov 9th making it a statement WIN, and reminding the Big12 who was and still is the favorite to win the conference, and make your in-laws eat crow and learn to appreciate their…[Read more]

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Players only meeting? in the forum Football 2 months, 1 week ago

When Urban Meyer was coach at Utah for the two years, he said the players held an only players meeting, and as result from that meeting, Urban said the players made a team promise to each other that they were going to ball out for themselves and for Urban realizing how much Urban really carried about them. I believe that team meeting was held in…[Read more]

The Utah football issue is squarely on Whitt! His biggest failure the past two seasons was keeping injuries, especially Cam’s in the dark and it affected the team and the fanbase, and spilled over into the media. He didn’t manage it properly and let it get out of control resulting in two straight losses to the AZ schools. Can Utah win the next…[Read more]

Amen! I been say this very thing since the win at Ok St and got told to shut up and your a Debbie Downer and must be a closet BYU fan. Now that we are 4-2 and look like an average football team at best, where are my naysayers at?!

Hope the team can re-group, have a come to Jesus meeting and trust each other and have each others back, and anything…[Read more]

    Amen! Go UTES!!!

  • That maybe true, but right now Scalley needs to prove himself with the defense until the end of the season. The problem is, Whitt maybe in his way or holding him back from executing a defensive scheme he knows can work. Let’s hope Afernee and the MiamiUte are on point with their assessments.

  • After the last two losses, I have my reservations about Scalley. If the trend continues rest of the season into next season with or without Whitt, Scalley would have a monumental task ahead of him to right the ship and get the program back on track. Right now, Jay Hill has done an excellent job at TDS that the administration needs to give him a…[Read more]

  • Post: “Utah vs BYU|W (Utah will not lose to BYU at home, let’s be real.)”

I like your confidence would LOVE for this to happen! I hope the team will be pissed off angry for this game and takes it all out on the TDS giving them what could be their only 1 or 2 losses of the season, but if Utah continues playing like they have, TDS wins this game p…[Read more]

  • stupid people on here think Hill would accept a DC position under Scalley? Gimme a f’n break! Jay Hill would be coming to Utah for one thing and one thing only, to be Utah’s new football head coach. People on here are delusional and why with their kind of weak mentality is why Utah is 4-2 and not 6-0.

I tell you what, come Nov 9th, will see…[Read more]

  • and its that kind of weak ass mentality like yours is why Utah and its fanbase are in the losing situation they are in. if I was Jay Hill the only way I’m going back to Utah is as the head coach, nothing else!

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Sad in the forum Football 2 months, 1 week ago

It’s gonna take more than a new season to get this team back to the pre-injury Cam. It’s gonna take strong leadership from both coaches and players. Leadership that the coaches and players respect. Cam was that guy for the team, but the appears to have sailed off into the sunset.

  • It wasn’t hard to see last year and it sure as hell was easy to see this year after Cam went down against Baylor that we were back to square one again. I wasn’t buying none of the pre-season hype because of Whittingham. I’ve known him to say one thing, and do another. Every year he says this maybe the best team he’s ever coached, and then ends…[Read more]

  • Why in the hell would Jay Hill want the DC position at Utah when he’s already the DC at the TDS?! If anything, he would want the Utah HC position, and IMO judging by this season results alone between TDS and Utah, I would think he would be the frontrunner for the Utah HC position, not Scalley.

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Time for a reset in the forum Football 2 months, 1 week ago

Whitt is to blame for the false narratives he’s been putting out there and then, goes to radio silence the past two years with injuries that IMO have negatively impacted the team’s psyche. I wouldn’t doubt it if players wanted to speak out against Whitt’s better judgment because behind the scenes they themselves want to know what QB is really…[Read more]
