Utah#1

  • It would take a MASSIVE MIRACLE if that team won the next six games and others lost three games for the Utes to reach the conf champ game and win it.

Totally agree! Whitt has turned into the MSM version of FAKE NEWS, which means he’s hiding the truth about team’s status and won’t be transparent. I believe that has significantly hurt the team’s ability to perform on the field and has resulted in two straight loses. If he’s trying to prevent the opponent from gaining an advantage, that’s no…[Read more]

  • 1. IMO, Utah football is and always has been built as an under the radar underdog program, and has never been a program playing as the favorites. I see they crumble under the pressure of being favorites. In games they’ve lost and should have won, appears to zap the team’s confidence and has a psychological affect on them. Its like a stain on a…[Read more]

  • Just being a realist. I’m glad you see it that way, but there are many that think we are going to win the rest of the games because Utah just had a bad game against Arizona and don’t see them losing anymore because we are favored to win the Big12. That maybe true, but they shouldn’t be disappointed if Utah loses more games. Let’s just play every…[Read more]

    Okay BYU fan = caliman

  • WE are not back in the race by ANY stretch of the imagination! Let’s win the next game first! If we win that, then we need to beat TCU. Let’s take care of ASU first and hope Cam is back, and then will go from there.

  • I would agree with you on that! I believe Rising’s presence alone, on the field, is a huge difference maker for Utah.

  • It could be our reality, but we won’t truly know for sure until Rising comes back, if he does? And O’Toole and Reid are back. It is just different when Rising plays, the whole team plays like a top 10 team that seems virtually unstoppable.

  • Dude, i couldn’t have said it any better myself. Well spoken! I expressed my two cents replying in other posts that I don’t think our team is as good as advertised or thus far has not passed the eyeball test. For that my responses got down votes and that’s fine. I am a realist and at this point in the season we aren’t playing like or looking…[Read more]

Sorry to be the Debbie downer, but unless the team is pissed off for dropping one at home to Arizona and looking to fight back and get their MOJOs back, I doubt they’ll be ready to play and win against ASU. Rising no doubt is the team general, the team leader and if he’s not playing its 505/50 win or lose. I’ve seen this so many times before, Utah…[Read more]

Unless we see significant improvement from the team without Rising, Utah will lose against ASU. Our wins are not looking so good right now and Arizona loss to Texas Tech tonight. That tells me half way in the season, Utah isn’t looking like the Big-12 favorite! Kyle Whitt’s team can lose to any of the undefeated Big12 teams right now and…[Read more]

  • Should it matter? Utah was in control of their own destiny until they f’d it up on their home field and lost to a more hungry Arizona team. It’s more so Utah just needs to win all their games here on out and the rest will work itself out (and to have a chance at the CFP, they lost twice forget CFP). Currently six teams that need to lose twice…[Read more]

  • I question Whitt’s approach not disclosing injury reports, like its going to help his team win. Last Saturday’s game proved Arizona did what they had to do to shut down and beat Utah, pressure Wilson and the rest of the dominos will fall. I bet you this will be every opponent’s game plan against Utah till end of the season.

To me this will only…[Read more]

  • I’m sure we all can agree that we are sick and tired of the media reporting of game time decision if Cam is going to play or not. We dealt with this all season last year too. I believe Whitt doing that was to give other teams little time to prepare for who was going to play and keep our opponents guessing. While that may work, it won’t work for…[Read more]

I don’t know what is going on the sideline or in the locker room when it pertains to Cam, but what I believe is all the media hype generated since last year got into the heads of the team and most of the fanbase thinking Utah was just going to walk through the Big12 and be crowned champs without having played the entire schedule yet. I saw…[Read more]

  • So disappointed in Utah. They did not come ready to play and Arizona did! Arizona had this game circled and we’re going to ruin Utah’s party. Utah is not the best team in the Big12, BYU is now! Go UTES!!!

  • I knew this was going to happen soon or later…this weekends has been bad for top 10 teams that barely won and that lost.

I believe they’ll still win tonight, but this is a wake up call! Reminder, they have a target on their backs every weekend and nothing is going to be easy! A loss and BYU is the new #1 in the Big12, because UCF lost to…[Read more]

All the team needs to do is focus and just take it one game at a time and not let the media’s recognition of the program get to their heads! I wouldn’t pay attention to the ESPN Sports Center highlights, just focus on kicking every team’s ass with every weekend that goes by and play solid Utah Football! Go UTES!

  • Utah#1 replied to the topic Injuries in the forum Football 2 months, 4 weeks ago

At this point Wilson is QB1 every Saturday until you see Rising jogging on to the field in the first offensive series that Utah has the ball.

  • This just tells me and other opponents that Utah is only as good as which QB starts the game or which QB plays the majority of the game. Whitt knows this and tries his best to keep everyone in the dark with hope it will give him a slight edge to hopefully win. This is not good coaching if you’re trying to throw your opponent off by using this…[Read more]
