Utah#1 replied to the topic This is what is so frustrating about the BYU fanbase in the forum They So Poo Poo 8 months, 2 weeks ago
What goes around comes around! Those in the toxic BYU fanbase will reap what they sow, and it usually comes back to them 10 times worse.
I say to them, or anyone else who lies and makes false accusations against another for the sole purpose of destroying someone’s name or livelihood…be very careful what you wish others. YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW!

Craig Smith has failed to win on the road and keep his top two assistance. Utah’s athletic department has failed the MBB program by keeping him. BYU is determined to outshine Utah by any and all means necessary, even if it means, taking one of our top assistance coaches who left his alma mater to possibly coach the same position at its rival.…[Read more]

Utah#1 replied to the topic McKay Hillstead is in the portal in the forum Football 9 months, 1 week ago
I think if Utah can pursue another talented 3-star or 4-star QB in the portal and get them to come to Utah I would go that route. They should quit go after second best. I’m not certain Utah has to beg players to come here, I believe if its a good fit and price is right (involves NIL), then want know go after a talented QB. If they are shooting…[Read more]

Utah#1 replied to the topic Ryan Smith Interview on ESPN in the forum Professional Sports 9 months, 1 week ago
The moment I found out Ryan Smith is a BYU booster who ponied up $30M to help hire the BYU MBB coach but is pushing SLC local government officials to help finance his plans for a new MLB stadium and hockey arena, I lost interest in anything he’s involved in SLC related. And all the proof I need is the Jazz still suck (unfortunately) thanks to him…[Read more]

Utah#1 replied to the topic Utah as a B1G expansion target in the forum Misc 9 months, 1 week ago
There have been a few reports about B1G expansion that have mentioned interests in Utah, TCU, FSU, Clemson, Notre Dame.

all I would hear is Medlock this and Medlock that but it appears Utah didn’t utilize him all that much except on special teams. Either he wasn’t as good as they advertised or the LB room was too full and couldn’t get him on the field like they wanted, so he bolted.

Utah#1 replied to the topic Odds for Csmith to get fired in the forum Basketball (Men) 10 months, 2 weeks ago
That won’t cut it in the Big 12 and definitely the B1G, if Utah gets the call. I’d say cut the loss now and hopefully find a good coach to come to Utah.

Then he would be the one that gets replaced.

wish they could play like that more often on the road, they would have a much better record!

That’s okay because it opens the door to give a diamond in the rough ala Devin Lloyd to make a splash in the 2024 season.

Utah#1 replied to the topic C. Smith in the forum Basketball (Men) 11 months, 2 weeks ago
I’d give him one more year so Utah doesn’t have to buyout his contract and then begin looking for another coach. He had his opportunity with all that talent on the team and wasted it away.
I didn’t like when they hired him three years ago as it didn’t to be any significant progress or improvement in the program. If there was any, it was minimal.

Don’t think Craig Smith is the right coach for Utah MBB. Your only as a good a team if you can win both home and away games. Right now the way it looks, I see them losing all their away games.

Their mad because Utah owns them! So they gotta try and circumvent the program by trying to lure away our coaches and players. LOL

DeBoer leaves UW for Bama, Fisch leaves AZ for UW, and players jumping ship left and right like crazy, conference(s) get or getting destroyed (Pac-12, ACC and eventually Big-12) and fans hearts get broken by lack of loyalty for their football programs where some level of selfishness and greed take over.

Utah#1 replied to the topic My Impression of this Utah Team after 4 Conference Games in the forum Basketball (Men) 1 year ago
They are still not a top notch NCAA mens basketball program. When they can’t win games against Arizona or ASU, that means they are no where near where they should be. How do they expect to get fans to watch their games at the Hunty when they can’t win these critical games? Craig Smith has been the head coach for 3 years now. I’d say give him…[Read more]

I agree with you! Click bait, Utah way overrated IMO with this way too early 2024 top 25! Half the team is gone and the coaching staff hasn’t said a word with any good news, which can mean a number of things or merely, no news doesn’t necessarily mean good news. While we hear of more defections, its not looking good for the coaching staff and…[Read more]

IMO, all of college football has become corrupt. Hope Whittingham has run (hope) 90% clean program to this point, but I see all of college football corrupt. Nowadays, programs can’t survive unless your somewhat or somehow cheating behind closed doors. Even though BYU is a religious school, they are no exception, I believe they are or have been…[Read more]
