IMO Ficklin deserves the backup QB role over Wilson as he’s already impressed and proven what he can do in a very short period of time. If Whitt does the Whitt thing and picks Wilson over Ficklin, when the portal opens up again, after this go around, Ficklin is gone! My hope for the 2025 season is for Whitt, Jason Beck and Morgan Scalley field the best Utah football team in years, go into LES undefeated (or with 1 loss) and embarrass the hell out of the Big12 prima donas on their home field and show the college football world it doesn’t pay to lie, cheat and steal from your rival or anyone else for that matter.
