I’m frequently a Ute coach apologist but what worries me about smith is the lack of defensive identity as the season wears on. Allowing 90 points a game every other game is concerning. Is Rollie Worster that important to our defensive identity?

Of the 11 missed, Deivon missed 5 and Brandon missed 4. Deivon is shooting 60% on the year, Brandon 70%. We do have some better shooters on the team, but we’re not an especially strong team at getting to the rim.

Good Point. Chip Kelly had it right. USC and UCLA should have sent Football only to the B1G and left all the other sports back home to play Arizona, Washington, Utah, etc.

I imagine the scheduling will have to change for Stanford and Cal. They’re volleyball team will go play 3-4 games at a time on the east coast rather than travel every other week.

I might have those same feelings if we were playing Wyoming and New Mexico again, but we’re in such a better situation than those old WAC and MWC days.
