I like it, I think it is a good recruiting selling point if they market it right. Also, if it means Simpkins steps up his game to be as important to the team as the other two then it will symbolize a huge step in Utah football.

If I’m not mistaken, Covey is listed as the back up holder for field goals. If this is the case, I expect at some point a fake field goal attempt that makes use of his special talents.

I considered that as well. I might pick Isaac Asiata over Bolles just for the sake of consistency and avoiding those troubling penalties.

I hadn’t thought of Dunn! That is saying something too, as I was at the Cal game when he ran back the two 100 yard returns and it has been one of my favorite Utah football experiences to witness in person.
A special teams unit with Gay, Wishnowski, Covey, and Dunn would be otherworldly. (Although it might be anyways if all works out)

We have. Boobie took it to the house at least once (against Colorado). There may be others that I’ve forgotten as well.

Assuming he does qualify and play, I have it as Hansen, Thompson, Barton, and Bernard as our LB corps. Is there anyone else that we should expect to contribute at the position? What about guys like Lloyd?

I’d say we are recruiting him because he is a fantastic QB and perhaps an even better guy and leader.
