Did New Mexico get an invite to the PAC or get left out? Really don’t have a lot of football history but have had some strong hoops teams over the years.

Utah winning is far more important to me than whether beating Iowa State lets BYU in the title game or not.

Always had a soft sport in my heart for the Cyclones, playing through the years in the shadows of teams like Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, (not to mention Iowa). Having lived through the late 70s and the 80s, always happy to see BYU lose.

But given our struggles in a very dismal season, I would rather have beaten BYU in Rice-Eccles then seen them rebound and go to the BIG12 Title game, than lost to BYU and see them fail to make the Big12 Final. (Of course hoping they return from Tempe with another loss).

All teams have injuries, but we seem to have had more than our share in recent seasons.

Not sure if due to shoes, turf, conditioning, hard hitting practices, or unfortunate luck (lost a RB for the season early last year when he crashed on a scooter for heavens sake).

It was fitting that Netflix announced WWE was coming to the streaming service in January.

Really joke of a ‘fight’ and was deservedly booed by those in attendance (what did tickets cost to this)? Glad I didn’t fork over any PPV money for this one. Undercard was entertaining at least. Ramos/Barrios put on a good contest and ladies had a great battle.

Colorado seems to be having that charmed season similar to our opponent last week. We’re so short-manned, down FOUR QBs (if rumors of Wilson are true) and 2 of our best receivers.

Hard to see any wins this season I’m afraid, unless defense scores few times.

I remember the time we were out about 5 RB and McBride had Ben Moa change from TE to RB. Will never forget his (third) overtime TD in Colorado State out of the Wildcat formation then the subsequent jump pass to win it.

Back in 2004 and 2008, we finished the regular season against BYU both years. At that point most Utah fans were completely focused on the Fiesta and Sugar Bowls.

They are starting to act like they did back in the 80s. (And it was indeed quite unbearable).

Would think they would be far more interested in their upcoming games and potential conference title game and playoffs then they are in a team near the bottom of the standings.

I left all the BIg12 online groups back in September and have never looked back as they weren’t much better than CB. Way too much of a BYU representation and many of them seem to want Utah to be the most hated team in the conference. Nice to have a hoops game to get my minds off the game (and unfortunate aftermath) last Saturday.

Glad we’re trying to get a few more baskets inside as you can’t rely only on treys.

Sad if this is Whitt’s last rivalry game. Lavell Edwards enjoyed a thrilling last minute win over Utah in his very last game. Some Utah fans may not have fond memories of that one, but I thought it was a great exciting game and it was a fitting end to a long storied career. Calls in the secondary are some of the trickiest (and often most controversial) ones in football. Sometimes have a tightly officiated game where several PI and defensive holding are made each way, sometimes few or no such calls are made in the entire game.

I’ve always favored kicking into or past the end zone. Seems like a time or two a year someone takes it to the house against us.
