Not entirely about the money. Kyle had a chance to head to Tennessee (for a ma$$ive pay increase) back in our MWC days but decided to stick around.

But our offense is at rock bottom right now. Two non-offensive TDs weren’t enough last Saturday to earn a win.

Big changes are needed to fix this mess. One offensive touchdown will not be enough to win very often.

Gabe was ice cold out in Mississippi (not sure what town/city they played in) but a lot of that was due to Bulldogs focusing defense on him. (Mason caught fire and Dawes had a strong performance but that wasn’t enough). Utah could do well during conference play when the treys are draining, but will struggle when the shots aren’t falling from outside.

I do feel rather badly for Isaac. Very much needed a red-shirt year to learn how to play at the higher level, (didn’t help his brother is in the NFL so there were very high expectations of him).

Utah had a respectable showing in a ‘road’ game against Mississippi State. Other than St. Mary’s in the Hunty in a few weeks and a neutral court games (in South Dakota) against Iowa, really nothing at all challenging before the Big12 games start. (Really wish we had a few more strong opponents in pre-season. One of those used to be against BYU who we now face twice in conference play).

Hoping Lovering and new-comer Keller are available soon.

The league looks loaded this season.

I noticed that too. Lots of flashlights on in the visiting section

Arrive on time to honor Ty, Aaron, and the seniors, and stay and loudly support the Utes.

It’s been a gut-wrenching season on so many levels, and no one feels worse than the players and coaches. Let them know we appreciate their hard work.

A lot of the resentment of the Broncos has to do with them being repeatedly called “the original BCS busters” when Utah did it earlier (and when 2 fewer teams were let in).

And less said about their fans the better.

Ty was very talented and I was so impressed when he was awarded the game ball in the locker room and he humbly stated his success that game was due to the fine play of his offensive line.

A young man of great character who must be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who enjoyed watching him play in his all too short a career.

We were right there with BYU. Two untimely injuries derailed our offense in the second half (not to mention 2 fumbles where BYU benefited from the perfect bounce). We could have won comfortably in that one.

Another option is the free shuttle from the tailgating lot. You can get out of the lot quite fast at the end of the game.
