I agree with all the above. He’s lucky he coaches at Utah and not somewhere like tOSU. Bungling the QB situation like that would not be tolerated at a lot of places.

He always seems fine with the OL. Wilson not having surgery yet is confusing and concerns me. This makes getting more QB’s even that more imperative. I guess Barnes should’ve stayed.

I’m with you here. I only watch Utah football now. I used to get excited for a full saturday of college football kicked off with college game day, now I have other things to do with my time.

I think its wild to put all your eggs in one basket after he had ONE winning year. Yeah, he greatly improved the team, but it could be a flash in the pan. Then again, maybe it was the best hire available.

I think the biggest issue with Yassmin this year was the disaster rotational situation at QB and then the season ending injury. Maybe if the injury didn’t happen Barnes might’ve gone to him more after “settling” into the QB1 spot.

This would be my question. They say bowl games are great because you get the extra practices which translates into extra reps for your players.
