I actually think we got really lucky coming out of that game with a W. We almost played too conservative and let UCLA back in the game there at the end. We were fortunate for some dropped passes.

Playing defensive ball that leads to losing games gives me nightmares of many Real Salt Lake games.

For some reason the hosts of the Podcast of Champions seemed to think that Oregon State looked really bad. I didn’t watch the game, but they said their QB is just flat out not good. Weird take because it seems like everyone else talks about how good they are.

CU players did post a video of them walking on and trying to scrub out the “O” on the fields before the game.

I feel like the point of conference expansion is to get into the later game market so that the networks can get eyeballs all day with games.

This, but also the utes had a pretty long history of being VERY conservative with their offense. Took an almost loss for them to go with NJ when Barnes was struggling all game. .

I was really impressed with some of those throws from NJ late in that game.

I believe I heard this number while listening to The Drive last week. I personally thing 30 mil plus the pac 12 network is a low ball offer. I’m pretty sure the Apple TV deal was better than that. I think all the schools that left are making more than 30 million. Maybe by countering with 50 they’d hope ESPN came back with 40 or something?
