Yeah the reality is the play on the field is bad. The last two games weren’t “quality losses.” Arizona is a very mediocre team and ASU is better, but not a great team either. A 10-2 Utah team might be on the bubble, but with what we’ve seen a 10-2 Utah team is a pipe dream.

Yeah the Jim Mora bit is very fitting for that question. Utah isn’t a good football team. Not close to the playoffs. Would love for them to turn it around, but a 6-0 finish just to get in the conversation isn’t happening.

At this point, ybu is a much better team and will be heavy favorites to beat Utah. They dominated Arizona today and already have wins against K-State and SMU. Utah is looking at a 7-5 season.

Yeah there is no way Hill returns to Utah in a DC role, especially with how good he is doing as the DC at ybu. Utah State has a job opening and he might take that, or he might take another MW level opening. He was good at Weber State and has turned around ybu’s defense. Won’t make it this year, but wish there was a good Utah crowd. byu is very beatable this year and their fans have already given up on their team. Unfortunately Utah basketball fans are still about a year or two away from really getting excited about going to road Utah games even if it is a rivalry only 40 minutes away.

Utah basketball has been down for a long time other than a few years here and there where unfortunately they went right back to being bad and couldn’t build off the success. It isn’t money. Utah basketball games are literally one of the best sporting event deals in the country. You aren’t going to find many other P5 programs with tickets as cheap as Utah basketball. Even Utah State tickets are more expensive. The product has been mostly bad since Bogut left other than a few exceptions, that is the problem.
