We need some speed at safety. And I really like Barton. A trade would be sweet 😆

Who is allegedly leaving Texas? Ewers will most likely declare leaving a QB competition for Maalik Murphy and Arch Manning, neither of which are leaving. I guess I could see Murphy leaving if Manning wins the job but I doubt it.

How many players we gotta give the Utes lol?

  • I caught the Utes game in Waco a few weeks back and was very impressed with Levani Damuni. Dude was all over the field making plays. Him and Barton were fun to watch.

I posted this on the ASU board. It’ll give y’all a glimpse of your new family.

My perspective of Big 12 fan bases from my personal experiences (Texas fan)

Baylor – kinda the goody goods, probably a lot like BYU fans that drink beer. You’ll hear some “what the heck was that” type stuff at games. Their stadium is pretty nice but they did go cheap…[Read more]

As some of you I’ve interacted with know I’m a Texas fan to the core but my entire mom’s side of my family are big time Utes fans. I became one myself in 2008 watching that Sugar Bowl. I’ve never seen a team play more inspired than that (other than 2005 Texas).

I’m thrilled I will get to see the Utes regularly (I live in DFW) I think Utah-TCU…[Read more]

  • This right here is the exact correct answer. Schools are finally starting to learn, and those that still lament about the old days are bound to be left behind. Just like all of us that have careers, schools are learning that they need to be focused on being the best version of themselves and securing the most lucrative opportunities possible.…[Read more]

This guy gets it. The Pac-12 is in pretty rough territory because all of the schools involved heavily relied on Southern California to thrive/survive. The mistake the underdog schools continue to make is limiting/making life hard for the blueblood and breadwinner of their conference. A lot of you get probably say f*ck USC and tbh a huge reason for…[Read more]

  • Y’all are fooling yourselves of you don’t think the PAC is in deep sh*t. Kliavkoff blew it big time. 2 major media platforms just pulled out of negotiations and ESPN already gave a preliminary number below ever P5 league. Putting all of the tier 1/2 inventory on a streaming platform like prime would be the nail in the coffin.

    Not to mention,…[Read more]

  • Honestly, it sounds like you have sour grapes for whatever reason? The new SEC will be flush full of historical powers and rivals. And will boast with 10/16 stadiums of 80,000+ capacity. Every week will feature marquis matchups that will be rating giants. Can’t wait.

  • Do you not know what the 3+6 model is?

    3 protected annual rivals
    6 rotating bi annual opponents

Every schools’ historical rival will be locked in to play every year.

  • How is it a nightmare? It’s actually beautiful what’s going to happen (3+6)

Eliminates the November FCS garbage games, pairs up historical rivals, and everyone will play everyone H&A on a 4 year cycle. It will be far and away the best tv inventory league by a Longshot.

  • What I find weird is for some reason y’all feel the PAC12 is a better conference somehow? It’s not in basketball, baseball, and damn sure not football. Very odd…..

Truthfully, schools out west without a California base and recruiting draw need schools based in Texas and Florida more than those schools need universities based in Utah, Colorado, and Washington.

The Big 12’s recruiting base (TX, FL, OH) produced 983 FBS recruits. Every state in the “New” Pac-10 combined produced 124.

Which markets are bigger than #3 & #4 Dallas/FT Worth and Houston that the ACC have?

  • You’re from California so I get it. But California is almost behind Georgia as far as recruiting is concerned. It won’t be much longer until Georgia takes their spot at number 3.

Texas puts out the most D1 recruits every year with Florida a close second. In the new Big 12 Utah would play in both of these states along with Ohio which also puts out…[Read more]

  • Baylor isn’t curb stomping anyone let alone Texas. Didn’t y’all just have a 1-11 season lol. Texas is up 6-4 in the last 10 games. This was also the worst decade in Longhorns football history. Let’s go see how Baylor did vs Texas in their down years 🤣🤣🤣 problem was that was like 20 years and it caused y’all to put up tarps at Floyd Casey. Back to…[Read more]

  • They’re like BYU fans that drink beer and have premarital sex. But you’ll definitely hear some “what the frick’s” at a Baylor game lol. The typical never really won anything but expects to be treated like football royalty.

It’ll be fun to watch them and BYU interact.

  • Just so everyone knows Baylor is only in the Big 12 because when the conference was formed the governor of Texas (Ann Richards) threatened legal action on A&M and Texas is Baylor wasn’t included.

Baylor folks are the saw you at the strip club Saturday and in the church pew on Sunday. Don’t believe me, go read Baylor fans threads when the rape…[Read more]
