Not sure on this (from a fans perspective who really doesn’t know a lot about football like the coaches do), but O-Line is not a position to tinker with during the season or in key games, unless there are problems. Seems like the O-Line performed pretty well last night.

Game experience would be great and I trust the coaches to do it the right way.

Sure beats the crappy days from the 80’s when the most exciting thing at Utah Football games was watching the frat boys try to not get caught running across the field or girls dropping trench coats and streaking buck naked to lay down on the U in the middle of the field.

I was there at that cold, October, rainy day… we were highly favored over a terrible UTEP team.

That was only one bad memory… there have been plenty of really good memories when Utah was on game day!

I would argue Danny Vranes, who went to a Skyline HS, was an All American at Utah and was on the Olympic team.

Game 1 is DEFINITELY an advantage for Utah…RES (Rice Eccles South) is our home away from home!

And don’t forget that the Utes will also best USC and UCLA as well!!!

Not going to happen. Utah will be the overwhelming pick for 1st in South, and possibly PAC 12 title.

Why in the world would Utah stop recruiting LDS kids? Let’s take a look at just a couple of high impact LDS Utes of recent times (and no, this is not even close to comprehensive, just naming a few that stand out to me):

Britain Covey
Chase Hansen
Garrett Bowles
Matt Gay

Obviously some on this board were not Ute fans during the 70’s and 80’s. I remember being the very same way as the current Zoob…thinking the Utes were going to win…HOPING they were going to win. When a rivalry is so lop sided, the team on the wrong end of it has NOTHING but hope.

It’s not like she did this at a frat party. There are far too many kids at these events, all of them glued to watching the jumbotron to see if they get on TV. They don’t need to see some girl showing the world her mambas.
