When Sitake was here he was running Whitt’s defense. It’s always been Whitt who really had the most influence on that defense.

Sitake doesn’t have “his guys” quite yet but I don’t doubt he’ll get a pretty decent defense going up there. It may not become as elite as Utah’s but it will be a tough D to play against in a few years.

To be fair, both Andersen and Whitt came from the same school of coaching so they’re both taking from someone else’s work.

Whitt just does it better and has his players more bought into the program.

Travis Wilson needs to be closer to his “Oregon” performance than his “Cal” performance.

I think we saw a letdown in the Cal game.

The offense blew their load in the Oregon game and kinda fell in love with their publicity. Thank God Booker, the O-line and defense decided to step up.

We had it in the bag in 2013 and let is slip away.

We were one FG away from winning in 2014.

We’re are a more talented, deeper, and healthier team this year than we ever have been and we have them back in our house.

Whitt has already been under pretty big scrutiny over his questionable assistant choices in the past few years. Bringing someone in with a long-running addiction issue would be a very unwise move.
