For comparison, Utah plays only two teams coming off a bye week: @ Washington and vs UCLA, worth noting that we will also be coming off a bye when we play UCLA.

He wasn’t great his first time on the Hill, but he was good, certainly better than anything we’ve had since he left. 
I think we will be able to count on having at least a competent offense while he is here. I just hope he can get things rolling right out of the gate.

I feel like I heard/read recently that BYU was supposed to announce a new TV deal with ESPN but it was delayed because they had to work out some unexpected/last minute details.

I can’t help but laugh at the people protesting. They CHOSE to attend that university knowing full well about its honor code and the way it is enforced. If they don’t like it, then they should transfer to another school. Period. End of story.

Ron Mcbride is the most BELOVED football coach in University of Utah history. He restored Utah football to a consistent winner and he was just so likeable. To many, he was like a father or an uncle or grandfather. And it seemed quite clear that Utah is the place he wanted to be.

Utah did average 36.9 ppg that year AS A TEAM, but when you take out defensive and special teams touchdowns the offense averaged only 33.7 ppg. Ludwig’s offense was also gifted 5 FGs that year. If it is Ludwig, my money is on tomorrow or Saturday which will tell us a lot about how even they view this hire.
