I mostly agree, but going from P5 coordinator to G5 head coach back to P5 coordinator isn’t a career killer, even if he isn’t wildly successul. If nothing else, I think he could easily get another G5 HC job by pointing to his time at Houston.

Fingers crossed Larry moves on.

I would actually be okay with him staying if he was able to keep the same roster from one year to the next (minus graduating seniors of course), but it is inevitable we will yet again lose 3+ players to transfer this year and Larry will once again have a young & inexperienced team next year.

I’m not looking for the 4 best teams. I’m looking for the 4 teams that earned their way in during the regular season. Yep. The ACC basically gets two teams in because Notre Dame doesn’t have to play a full conference schedule and doesn’t have to prove themselves in a conference championship game. If Notre Dame had to play Clemson during the regular season and/or in the CCG, I doubt both of them would have made the playoff.

Notre Dame Shouldn’t have been in. If the ACC champ gets in, Notre Dame shouldn’t be allowed in unless they beat the ACC champ.

I don’t know about any bad blood, but Brian’s departure wasn’t exactly amicable. Rumors at the time from “insiders” were that Brian was pissed about the suggestion of being demoted to QB coach.

Yes, let’s re-hire/promote two guys who were fired/demoted from our OC position just a few years ago. This sounds like a GREAT idea.

I don’t know, but I doubt anyone who would really excite fans has expressed interest. If people like that were putting feelers out, some of the names would have leaked by now.

What I care about is how good his arm looks. He throws a better ball than either Huntley or Shelley, and as an added bonus he is proving to be a better runner than either of them too.
Wilson is a true freshman who looks like the real deal and is only going to get better.

First reaction: This sucks for continuity, but that’s about it.
Other than 3 or 4 games this year, Taylor’s offense overall was statistically worse in just about every statistical category than A-Rod and Harding’s offense.

I have to laugh at BYU fans who ‘know’ that Bernard punched Wilson despite not being able to see where his hand landed, yet they ignore much clearer video evidence to claim Emery didn’t punch Taylor. Many of them try to claim the infamous nut-punch vs Boise a few years back wasn’t a punch either, just an attempt to punch the ball out.
