I thought we would win that game. We all should have. We returned nearly everyone from a team that nearly beat them in Seattle last year. We had stability at the QB and OC spots. The game was at home.

2. I believe we are going to see a run-heavy offensive game plan. If we don’t, I’m not sure Kyle lets Troy on the plane after the game.

Name one OC that Whittingham has hired since Ludwig that was allowed to bring in their own offensive staff. There isn’t a single one.

It’s generally accepted among Ute fans that A-Rod was not a good OC. I go back and forth about his abilities, but whatever. 
For the people who think Taylor is a good OC or at least an upgrade, here are some numbers that paint a much different picture.

Two guys who were given OC jobs they weren’t qualified or ready for.
Obviously they have different playbooks and offensive philosophies, but that is the level our offense has sunk to. 
 

He was hobbled by injury late in his freshman season, and it looks like that will be the case at some point this year. 
He’s listed at 5’8″ 170 lbs which means he is probably 5’7″ 160 lbs soaking wet. Darren Sproles is 5’6″ 190 lbs. This is where Covey needs to be if he hopes to survive the next couple of years. 

Win decisively, and I think it means we have a great team that just didn’t get up for Weber or NIU. Legit Pac-12 contenders. 11+ wins is a real possibility.

I’m shocked.

How much of this is Wisconsin not taking BYU seriously after what they did to them last year, and how much is BYU being better/Wisconsin not being that great?

Kind of hard to believe after seeing how poorly we played yesterday, but Utah would be 26th in the AP and 27th in the Coaches if the polls went that far.
