I looked it up, and you’re right, Utah State didn’t average 3 wins per year for 30 years. In the 30 years before Gary took over in Logan(1979-2008), the Aggies averaged 4 wins per year. HUGE difference, right? They had 4 winning seasons during that stretch(7-3 in ’79, 6-5 in ’80, 7-5 in ’93, & 6-5 in ’96).

It seems like all camp, when the coaches would talk about the QB race, they made it sound like Williams was more efficient and was taking better care of the football than Huntley(i.e. not turning it over as often). I just happened to click on my profile and found I had a private message from 10 days ago that I had no idea was there before now. It would be a nice feature if there were some sort of alert or notification at the top of the page that told us we had a private message.

Flipping through the guide and stumble across this Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Chargers pre-season game.

I knew they had planned on moving, but it still hasn’t sunk in yet that the Chargers are no longer the San Diego Chargers. It just seems wrong.

Couldn’t have been Helfrich. The comments come from coaches of the teams we play this year.

Petersen could be another good guess. His BSU teams dominated us and it doesn’t seem like our DL has played up to their usual level against his Washington teams, though I could just be misremembering.

Yep, I’ve got OSU being bowl eligible this year and having most of their losses come down to the wire.

Our only hope for a lighter schedule is to have the AZ schools struggle again along with UCLA and then hope that Colorado falls down a peg or two with the talent they lost and a new DC. But even if all of that happens, we will still have a top…[Read more]

That was the first name that came to my mind and for the same reason.
The second name that comes to mind is Graham just because he seems like a DB that would say something like that despite our front 7 taking up residence in his backfield last year.

The three things that stand out to me:

1) The difference at TE – They keep bragging up their TEs as these indefensible weapons. I think if our LBs and Safeties are defending our TEs every day in practice, we should be able to handle theirs.
