I’ve been convinced since Fall Camp that this would be Kyle’s last season. But the way he talked about hiring a new OC, I’m not so sure now. I could see him sticking around for one more season to see what he can manage with a new OC and an influx of talent from the portal.

@ Colorado and vs Iowa State will be two of the best teams we have played all year and we are coming off of a heartbreaking rivalry loss.

After losing 4 straight, that BYU game was make or break for the season. If we had won, I think this team could have pulled out one or two more wins in the final three. But, losing the way we did, I don’t think we will even be competitive in any of these final three games.

Spark? An emotional loss to your rival, to extend a 4 game losing streak to now 5 straight losses . . . That’s not something that provides a spark to get your season back on track. We can’t pass effectively enough to take the heat off of our running game and our running game isn’t strong enough to be successful without a legitimate passing threat to keep the defense honest.

Unless Bajakian can make chicken soup out of our chicken shit scheme, and/or Rose turns out to be all-world, we won’t win another game this year.

The team hasn’t been ready to play since the OK State game. I have zero confidence the team will be ready to play on November 9th.

Given that we saw Rose come in with no change in the players’ demeanor, I’m guessing Huard lights things up in practice and players feel he should be starting instead of Wilson.
