Couldn’t have been Helfrich. The comments come from coaches of the teams we play this year.

Petersen could be another good guess. His BSU teams dominated us and it doesn’t seem like our DL has played up to their usual level against his Washington teams, though I could just be misremembering. 

Yep, I’ve got OSU being bowl eligible this year and having most of their losses come down to the wire.

That was the first name that came to my mind and for the same reason.
The second name that comes to mind is Graham just because he seems like a DB that would say something like that despite our front 7 taking up residence in his backfield last year.

The three things that stand out to me:

1) The difference at TE – They keep bragging up their TEs as these indefensible weapons. I think if our LBs and Safeties are defending our TEs every day in practice, we should be able to handle theirs.

Oh my god, not this again. Every year since they went independent, Utah fans make this type of prediction. And every year BYU outperforms the prediction. I’m not going to take the time to look it up but every year they have surpassed the “BYU will start 0-4” or “BYU is going to be lucky to win 6 games this year” predictions I see from Utah fans.…[Read more]

1) I’m a little skeptical of the “CBs look better than last year” comment when he says “We’ve moved WRs to CB so they have a shot to play.”

If the CBs we have look better than last year, how in the world is a converted WR supposed to get playing time there?
