Did they accidentally copy/paste last year’s prediction?

If people would actually look into the stories the media tells about Trump and his allies, they would realize just how much the media lies to us.

I was already excited about the Beck hire, but listening to him speak both about personnel and his philosophy have me even more hopeful we got a good one.

Still though, there’s a chance Whit makes an announcement of his retirement. The timing would be weird but since we already had Scalley as the next head coach, I could see Whit staying on as the head coach to help Scalley finish out the recruiting, transfer portal, and coaching hires in an effort to make the transition as smooth as possible.

      Not likely, but possible.

Becker was only 75% on FGs last year with a long of 48 yards. From what I’ve seen, Curtis can easily match that percentage and will likely beat it. He also has a much stronger leg than Becker. At a minimum, I expect our kicking game to be at least as good as last year, if not better.

ASU, BYU, Iowa State, and either K-State or Colorado. Colorado depends on if Deion stays or not.

At this point, I think he would take it. When he turned it down in 2020, I think he had his heart set on becoming an NFL head coach. Five years later and I think he can see that ain’t gonna happen, so college might be his only shot to be the head man.

This one I could see. Former player and assistant coach there, has a long and mostly successful coaching resume. He doesn’t have the same hype that Deion brought but he is probably the closest they could realistically bring in.

The other candidate I could see would be Jay Hill. Not a splashy hire, but he would be a good hire. And Hill would likely take it, if offered. With Sitake and Scalley being so young, he isn’t likely to get either of those jobs anytime soon. Utah State went with someone in the twilight of his coaching career over Hill, so no point in holding out for that job, not to mention it’s G5.

Overpaying only hurts them if it prevents them from signing additional players. So far, I haven’t seen anything to indicate this is the case.

This is a win for them and a loss for us. No other way to spin it.

The saying is “Dog eat dog” not doggy dogg.
