Week 1: playing 30 miles from home in stadium half filled with your colors and fans isn’t a disadvantage. Playing a G5 school in your backyard is an advantage.

Did you see Dixon last year against WSU and ASU? Dres also had Travis Wilson as QB. He was pretty good.

Dres wouldn’t be a terrible pick. Only guy to have a 1k season in the p12 era I think. WR could be better this year or could be business as usual, in which case I’d love to have him or Carrington.

LB is the biggest question mark for me this year so I’m leaning Giani Paul or Jared Norris. Matt Gay would be second.

I agree. We can be damn good but I don’t see Huntley as a champion level QB. Pretty damn good but made some really dumb, costly mistakes in his 3rd year. I don’t know many that have improved that much from year 3 to 4.

Not a popular opinion but it’s the truth.

Every national championship team ever had high expectations and pressure coming into the season. It’s just how it is. Keeping expectations low only hurts a team. The pressure is good. If the team responds like champions do, great. If they crumble, they weren’t champions at heart.

It’s just awful in general. Best plan offs to drink a few celebratory beverages in any p lit near by and wait it out. Good luck.
