For those of you who are new, we do a live game chat here. The chat is at https://www.utehub.com/chat and it is open to any registered member.  Chat must be accessed via a web browser, not the Ute Hub mobile app. There are no filters in there, so enter at your own risk. 

This afternoon Mrs. UteHub and I will be setting up our Ute tent, Ute chairs, Ute table, fire pit, flags etc in our driveway.  Snacks, drinks, tossing around a football.  It’s not 69 by the dumpster (ask if you are not familiar with this long standing tradition), but it will have to do. 

Predict the Score Contest – Football Pick Em Contest

Riley said on the radio a few min ago that today’s team covid tests were netagive.  One more test tomorrow. Fingers crossed. 

The Ute jerseys will have one of these seven words: equality, unity, together, peace, love, hope, enough.

There are 12 games on the Pick Em slate this week, and I fully expect 9-10 of them not to be cancelled!  Make your picks and have a chance at winning a fun Ute themed phone/tablet stand courtesy of me and my 3d printer! 

I just posted the USC at Utah Predict the Score game. Make your prediction and win a sweet prize! Let’s hope that we do get to see the Utes play this week and that they’re at full power.  Let’s also hope that USC is as bad as they have looked through the first two weeks.  We’ve all been there before. 

Crazy they would do that on such short notice, but good for them.

From Nick Ford: “Exposed to COVID19. 8 days of testing. 20 plus negative tests later. LA county still doesn’t want me playing. Disappointment and frustration are both understatements for the way I feel. When it’s finally my time to step back on the field… feel bad for whoever I’m going against.”

“Another good few days in football testing. Daily testing and preparation continues as we move onward, day by day, to UCLA- lets all up our efforts and work together to mitigate and fight this virus. As always, continue to Mask Up!”

More good results in our daily Covid testing with Football. We continue to push ahead and prepare for our game vs UCLA this Saturday, with hopes for more negative test results throughout the week. The focus, as always, is to follow the leadership of our medical professionals.

Assume our first 2 games are cancelled:  We win the remaining 4 to go 4-0.  Another south team goes 5-1.  Does the other south team automatically win the south because they have more wins?  What if there’s a 4-1 team? 

Since the current poll is now no good since the first football game was cancelled.  Poll topic suggestions encouraged. 

If we ever play them this season, they will be a problem.

Game is on now, on FOX. Daniels looks a little bigger. Fun to watch some Pac-12 football even though we’re not playing. Too bad both teams can’t lose this game, but I guess I’d rather see USC lose.

I’m going to pick a WINNER for the predict the score contest and award the prize despite the game cancellation. There are currently 70 entries. Anyone who is entered will be eligibe.  I’ll do that over the weekend.  If you haven’t entered yet, go for it. GO UTES.
