It is weird how we seem to have a block with Washington. We are 3-1 against Stanford since joining the PAC-12. We are 1-6 against Washington over the same time-frame. I am considering if I should make the 8 hour drive to go to the next game vs Oreogon State. I have a long weekend and could split up the drive and make it fairly comfortable. Good tickets look like they can be had for cheap.

It is nice to see some recognition for what a great offensive game was played on Saturday. I will say that I still think that we have gone to the shotgun too often in short yardage situations. We did start to go under center, after the ugliest play ever that somehow worked.

ISU scored 38 against a crappy team in their last game. Their receivers were supposed to be one of their strengths. Last game they had 385 pasding yards and 532 total.

Today they gained 80 yards in passing and 116 total. I think we can say our defense was at least slightly above average.

The drive I saw where the flags were flying, started with ASU having a blind side block call bringing back a touchdown. Then there was a facemask call on Sac State and another blind side block called on ASU. The commentarors were talking about the blindside blocks. I switched from the Boise State game to the ASU game. I think there were more calls made in the first drive I saw in the ASU game as I saw called in the entire BSU game. It seemed like there were things that could have been called in the BSU game but the let them play.

I didn’t see all of the ND-Louisville game. What I saw was a ND that was lucky to walk away with the win they did. Louisville a 2-10 team last year made some dumb mistakes but were not outclassed in the game and ND never really looked dominant. ND won by 18 points. This first quarter looks awful. I also have a degree from the University of Hawaii. I don’t think they should be this good this year. Khalil Tate is not looking good at all.
