Not surprising really. Utah just added two RBs that had a lot of production last year and changed the RB coach. He probably was going to get even less touches next year assuming guys stay healthy.

Parker (Wazzu RB) canceled visits to UCLA and USC. I think he is visiting Utah this weekend.

I don’t even need spring ball to tell you that Dampier is the starter.

He did say he is open to playing WR. I would imagine if he came back to Utah they would take a look at him as a backup QB, but he would probably see the field as a WR this year assuming Dampier doesn’t get injured.

Would be nice if the portal opened after bowl season. Plenty of kids on those teams that played a few snaps, but did the work all season grinding the scout team that will enter the portal. They should also be rewarded with the bowl experience if they want it.

Biggest is Calhoun. We have a great track record with DBs, but you still don’t want to lose ones that start. Punter was already replaced with the new K signee. He also punted in HS.

This sucks. Utah better plan on bringing in at least 2 portal QBs with how fast we chew through them.

Wilson was good in high school because they had the best talent by far in the state. His mechanics are not good. Just watch his feet. That’s one thing that he has to fix. He also needs a growth spurt so he can actually see over FBS lineman.

He may be a better coach on paper, but like Leftwich his teams played garbage competition. My concern with Beck is recruiting.

Reading this made me feel better about Beck. It definitely could be worse.

They already have their target. Its Tino Sunseri who is the Indiana QB coach. I don’t know if Utah was targeting him, but it sure is eye opening that schools are moving at break neck speed and Utah is not.

TT lost their OC on 12/2/24 and have a replacement by 12/5/24. This old school mentality from Whitt and Harlan are a joke. I don’t want to suffer as a fan because of their incompetence, but it looks like that is a real possibility.

I actually do think this is going to happen.

Can’t this season. The window is 12/9/24 – 12/28/24. Last year it ran from 12/4 – 1/2.

There are multiple QBs in G5 that turn out way better than guys recruited to the P4 schools. With how bad Utah has been with QB recruiting I won’t say we are reaching on anyone in that position.

Miller Moss will be a RS Senior next year.

Whitt is so out of touch with what is wrong with the offense its mind numbing. He continually harps in the post game about the team not getting enough rushing yards. There is constantly 7-8 guys in the box and we keep trying to run off tackle because Whitt thinks if you have 100 yards rushing you win. Running the ball isn’t the issue with this…[Read more]

He’s not going to pan out. I do hope he transfers because we know Whitt. He will ride the loyalty train all the way to the injury tent.
