I would agree with you if Utah wasn’t losing to AZ, ASU, and TCU. Those teams aren’t stacked and full of NIL players. This Utah team has a ton of talent that is being wasted on one of the worst offensive schemes in college football.

The excuse I am seeing is he is 18. I’ve seen plenty of freshman QBs who don’t hold onto the ball too long and don’t just throw toss ups constantly. He can’t hit a slant in rhythm to save his life.

Ludwig needs to be shown the door by Monday morning.

Wilson is not a good QB. Doesn’t mean he won’t be, but apparently he is the best behind Rising. I’m tired of this coaching staff and perpetually having zero offense.

I’m not sure this is being looked at correctly and I could be completely wrong. 2020 was a free year that didn’t count towards eligibilty, but he was also injured that year and might have had a medical redshirt given to him for that year. The talk was he was eligible for an 8th year before this season even started.

If Cam wants an 8th year I would prefer he do it somewhere else. Wilson is now going to have 9 starts under his belt assuming he makes it through the season and he should be the guy going into next year. You can’t have Cam taking any NIL money after this season.

There is no building for the future in college football. The roster tuns over too much and you can’t expect day 1 starters to even be on the team next year. Rising should be done, but other than that you aren’t replacing anyone.

We have a 13 year play caller serving as a offensive analyst. You could easily put the play calling duties in his hand because it can’t get much worse than it already is.

Lander is by far and away the worst of the Barton bros. He shouldn’t be anything but a backup.

It is what it is. Coaches can decide to let him figure it out or pull him and use the injury as the reason.

Surprisingly he was the first to break the news that Cam wouldn’t be playing against OSU.

If Cam doesn’t play again this year he won’t be playing for Utah next year either.

I don’t think people are blaming Cam. What people are frustrated with is the “he’s almost ready” talk. It’s been 2 years of it. If he can’t play then Wilson should be getting the snaps in practice and the backup should be getting the rest.

Mitchell is unplayable. He can’t pass protect so if he’s in then he’s getting the ball. The RB room is empty after Bernard.

Whitt is getting out coached a lot more often these days. That combined with the secrecy behind injuries is losing him a lot of good will. It’s a bummer really.

This team was built to win this year and reset next year. You don’t reset now if Rising can play. It’s too bad he’s just collecting checks and calling it a day.
