Agreed. Snoop is / was the better QB, but he never had the talent around him like the past 2 seasons had. Rising has been phenomenal and he got to play with Lloyd, Kuithe, Kincaid, CP3, as well as some of the best OL Utah has had, etc.

I guess that comes down to a few things. Getting all the reps will make him more comfortable with action of the offense. I think the better option is having him get all the reps with plays that play to his strengths. Changing the offensive identity slightly so he isn’t always dropping straight back. Why would you say Barnes is Whitt’s man crush? He lost the starting job this year and Whitt declared NJ is the guy while Barnes was healthy.

It can always be worse. It may not feel like it but it can definitely get worse.

Rose is healthy and has been for a few weeks. He missed a ton of time though and Whitt isn’t about to let someone that inexperienced play.

Overall his recruiting for any offensive position is below average. Whitt isn’t really doing the recruiting, but his offensive staff doesn’t have a good eye for talent.

Throw enough at the wall and it will eventually stick.

Why recruit the kid if you can’t run an offense that plays to his strengths at all? The play calling has completely changed between him and Barnes. Will be interesting to see if the O-Line gets better as the season goes on. It seems like they always come together towards the end of the season.

If NJ wins the next two games there is a chance he continues to start after the bye.

I know a few fans that came back from Waco with covid. I am hoping some of the guys that were out last weekend had some sort of flu versus more serious injuries.

I’m assuming what he heard back from the NFL wasn’t great after 2021. I figured he would leave after that season.

You have two guys that just got significant reps against Florida. Rose is also coming off a pretty significant injury and has zero reps in games. If Rising gets hurt I would assume Utah would go back to Barnes / Johnson this season. He might see some garbage time if there is any late in the season.
