Roderick was on staff for a long time and every position group he coached would regress. Taylor is the first real QB coach Utah has had since Whitt took over and I think fans are finally starting to realize that changing OCs isn’t going to fix things immediately. 

It’s pretty funny that at 2:22 they show BYU fans throwing trash at the officials from a game that Utah wasn’t even involved in.

His ability (or struggle) to tackle in open space is a big reason he struggles as a safety. I still can’t believe Utah had the 3rd highest missed tackle % in all of FBS this season.

I agree that 5 down lineman is a bad idea, but for some reason Scalley didn’t think Donovan was ready to play and there is no depth at LB to even play 3 without Donovan.

I plan on spending more time here, but I know over on Ute Fans if you are critical of the team you are criticized as a baby or not a real fan. They also believe no one will ever do a better job than Whitt which is just silly. It may not be immediately, but if that is the case the program will fall into the depths when he retires.

I wouldn’t. Scott can be a QB coach, but I want someone who has a playbook of plays and high level experience to come in. Urban and Ludwig disappeared with theirs and we haven’t been the same since.

Joe only got 23 touches today…Thats not enough when you have someone as good as him.

Its the same story every year…

Utah won’t ever be picked to win the conference because of USC and UCLA, but we keep shitting away opportunity and its time to actually make some real changes. Whether its just on the offensive side or more I dont know.
