Not surprising really. Utah just added two RBs that had a lot of production last year and changed the RB coach. He probably was going to get less touches next year assuming guys stay healthy.

This sucks. Utah better plan on bringing in at least 2 portal QBs with how fast we chew through them.

He didn’t lie about his injuries. They put a metal sole inside of his shoe at halftime and then ran him back out there.

The IRS is already lining up for this. I also expect a huge chunk of money to suddenly dry up when the “donations” are no longer considered a charitable. NIL collectives are already considered for-profit by the IRS. It just takes time for all of that to flow through.

Parker (Wazzu RB) canceled visits to UCLA and USC. I think he is visiting Utah this weekend.

He did say he is open to playing WR. I would imagine if he came back to Utah they would take a look at him as a backup QB, but he would probably see the field as a WR this year assuming Dampier doesn’t get injured.

Would be nice if the portal opened after bowl season. Plenty of kids on those teams that played a few snaps, but did the work all season grinding the scout team that will enter the portal. They should also be rewarded with the bowl experience if they want it.

I think the reason the portal is setup the way it is now is to line up with the academic calendar for most universities.

Biggest is Calhoun. We have a great track record with DBs, but you still don’t want to lose ones that start. Punter was already replaced with the new K signee. He also punted in HS.
