To be clear, Lohner wasn’t involved with the hold in question. Lohner blocked #9 at the end of the run. Hit the guy hard.

  • Yergensen replied to the topic Lohner? in the forum Football 3 months ago

He hammered Ok St #9 on I think it was Isaac’s scramble when Gundy freaked out on an alleged missed hold.

Was also in on the OSU missed FG as mentioned.

  • When has MB not broken tackles?

The versatile, can’t carry a full workload narrative on MB from coaches and fans has been complete bullsh!t.

Whitt even continued with it just last week claiming MB is not a 25 carry RB.

Well Coach, MB would like a word.

  • Running back played great, the rest did not. Time to change your tune on MB.

  • Yergensen replied to the topic Prevent defense play calls in the forum Football 3 months ago

It was a mistake plain and simple repeated 2X. I don’t know who made the call, Whitt or Scalley, but it was a mistake.

It’s supposed to prevent the big play TD. Instead it allowed two TDs in 3-4 plays and 2 minutes of play.

You can argue outcome, but prevent D put us at risk of losing a game that we could have kept out of reach otherwise.

Brock Huard said it best, pregame he observed Cam throwing. Said Cam should have been throwing fastballs, but instead was throwing change-ups.

Throwing hand injury affects his velocity and accuracy. You wait until that is healed.

Right call to go with Isaac. We’re playing with house money right now. Let’s get Cam, Karene and Connor back and we’…[Read more]

  • You did put it on Cam Proud. You questioned his toughness.

This coming from you who said he would never trust Whitt with communication again.

Stop putting 2023 and now 2024 on a student athlete. Student athletes aren’t running the show.

  • today or any other day.

We’re over simplifying a QB throwing hand injury. If the injury still affects Cam’s velocity and/or accuracy, we know what that means to pass game success. If it’s an issue, then it makes sense to go with Isaac.

100% behind either Cam or Isaac. No woulda, coulda, shouldas. My team is on the field.

    LFG.

  • Nobody outside the program knows the extent of the injury or Cam’s effectiveness in throwing the ball. Given Cam’s efforts to play at less than 100% throughout his career, if he doesn’t play today it’s because he can’t be effective throwing the ball. That’s it.

Any disinformation bullsh!t you can put squarely on the CEO of this outfit. It’…[Read more]

  • The only thing Cam can be faulted for is running and not sliding.

The reality is shredded knees take over a year to heal and apparently this finger laceration takes more than a couple weeks.

Don’t put this on Cam, don’t question his toughness when he has given all to this program.

Whitt’s gamesmanship is the source of 2023 and what is going…[Read more]

  • One game? You think Myles should base his decision on one game?

If you take WR targets and productivity over the body of Lud & Whit’s work together, what do you think you’ll find? You know the answer.

But yeah, I’m hopeful that with Isaac Wilson things will change and Saturday did look different than the past several years.

  • With Dorian Singer in the fold, it can no longer be argued that it’s a talent issue. So, how is Dorian Singer’s usage so far this year?

To me, it’s the scheme. But you don’t have to take my word for it. Covey said 2 years ago WR isn’t emphasized in the scheme.

  • It’s well established, data doesn’t lie, that Utah doesn’t feature the WR.

So, bias aside, would you play for Utah if you were a highly recruited WR?

What is WR playing time at Utah worth, if you’re blocking or running routes, but not getting targets?

This is the problem statement: Utah doesn’t feature the WR. Until WR prioritization changes,…[Read more]

  • Not true, Ritchie has been highly productive, when he’s on the field. Why isn’t he playing in front of Gilman?

  • Yergensen replied to the topic Alford and McClain in the forum Football 3 months, 1 week ago

I’m a McClain promoter. Had like 18 yds per reception last year and this year doesn’t play? There has to be a proverbial doghouse on this team.

  • Yergensen replied to the topic Post game interviews in the forum Football 3 months, 1 week ago

Sorry, I don’t think Glover has ever earned touches with his play and if his attitude is off on top of that, he’s in the way.

Been down this road recently with a more productive RB and had multiple bad outcomes. Hopefully we learned our lesson.

  • Ritchie only came into Baylor game to spell Gilman after a bad targeting ejection to rack up 9 tackles in one half.

Nine tackles in one half of play! Gilman shouldn’t be starting. I’m not sure he should be playing.

  • We don’t know if MB can endure a season of bellcow workload. He was always slotted into the utility role because he “couldn’t physically handle a full workload.”

I’ve never believed the narrative, I believe he can be the bellcow for a season. The cramping continues to be an issue, but so far, so good.

  • Yergensen replied to the topic Injuries? in the forum Football 3 months, 1 week ago

Ritchie is playing behind Gilman. That’s why you didn’t see him and btw it’s a mistake.

  • He’s going to be really good once he gets it dialed in and showed it today.
